We used Portico to update our master bathroom after our old shower started leaking into our kitchen. From the first call, Portico was responsive and had someone out quickly to look at the bathroom, ask lots of questions, and put together a detailed quote, which was sent to us in the Buildertrend app. All written communication went through the app, including storing our contracts, change orders, and invoices -- the transparency and control that gave us was huge!
We had a trip planned and Portico worked with us to find a start date that worked for all parties. They demo'd the bathroom in a day and we never had to deal with the headache of having a dumpster sit in our driveway for weeks. They introduced us to their third-party designer, Miranda Gao, who designed the most beautiful bathroom for us, giving very detailed designs and sourced all of the material (all within budget), including bringing in a craftsman to build our custom vanity, faux beams, and linen cabinet.
Our project manager, Marty, was very communicative: texting or calling me regularly to let me know who would be at our house, when, and for how long. If we got behind in a week, he had subs there on the weekend catching up on work. He also made sure everyone working at our house was aware of our dogs and instructed them all to make sure doors to the outside were always closed.
The subs Portico brought in were a delight to work with, offering frank advice when something wasn't going to work or look quite right. If anything was off by even an inch or we didn't like how it was placed, Marty had them back fixing it until it was right and exactly how we wanted it.
I cannot recommend Portico and their team enough! They have a great attention to detail and listen to you throughout the process and, most importantly, our bathroom turned out better than we ever imagined!
